Cacio e Pepe

Can’t make a meal much quicker than this! With the gooey cheese and perky black pepper this pasta dish is one of my faves. For those days when you need something on the table fast, when all you have in the cupboard is pasta and a block of cheese, or when you need some comfort. That was me the other day when the flu’ hit and special weekend (cooking and eating) plans had to be canceled. 

Exactly how much cheese and how much freshly ground black pepper you use is up to you. This time I had lots of pepper and also added smashed garlic when cooking the pasta.
